Small engine shop
Got something that won't start?
Bring it to BCS and we'll figure out what's going on.
Our repair shop works on small engines, lawn equipment, generators, pressure washers, concrete equipment, small tools and plenty of the other machines that get used — and abused — around Billings.
Sometimes it's a simple fix. Sometimes it isn't worth fixing. We'll tell you what we find and let you decide what you want to do from there.

Common Repairs
Some of the jobs we see every day include:
Engine won't start
Fuel problems, ignition issues, carburetors, spark plugs, compression and other starting problems.
Runs poorly or keeps dying
Fuel systems, carburetors, air intake, ignition and other problems that keep an engine from running properly.
Routine maintenance
Oil changes, filters, spark plugs, blade service and the other maintenance that keeps equipment working.
Fuel system problems
Old fuel can cause all sorts of trouble. We can diagnose and repair fuel-system and carburetor problems.
Broken or worn-out parts
Belts, cables, wheels, blades, bearings, switches and other components eventually wear out or break.
Engine repairs
When the problem goes beyond a tune-up, our technicians can diagnose the engine and determine what it needs.
How Repairs Work
1. Bring it in
Bring your equipment to our repair shop at BCS. If it's too large or awkward to move, give us a call and we'll talk through your options.
2. We take a look
We'll check out the equipment and figure out what we're dealing with. Not every problem is obvious from the outside.
3. We'll tell you what we found
If it needs a $40 part, we'll tell you. If it needs a $400 repair, we'll tell you that too.
And if we think you're better off replacing the machine instead of putting more money into an old one, we'll tell you that as well.
4. You decide
We don't fix things without your approval. Once you know what it needs and what the repair will involve, you can decide how you'd like to proceed.
5. We get it back to you
Once the repair is complete, we test the equipment before it leaves the shop.
